Mr. Shokorzadeh (Mr. S)
My name is Joshua Shokorzadehshokohi, but most students and families know me as Mr. S. I have lived in the Silver Valley area for about ten years, and I truly love the schools, the students, and the beauty of this community.
I am married to my wife, Ashleigh, and together we have two wonderful boys: Z, who is 5, and Bo, who is 3. Watching them grow up here has been one of the greatest joys of my life.
I have been with Silver Valley Unified for nearly a decade. I taught at Yermo School for 8 years, spent a year at Fort Irwin Middle School, and now am excited to be part of the Newberry family. Each school has given me meaningful experiences, and I feel grateful to work alongside such dedicated students and staff.
Outside of school, I love studying the Bible, playing games, going on walks, and taking in our beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
